Lover a play in one act, written in 1962,
by Harold Pinter author
of The Caretaker and
The Birthday Party. Nobel Laureate Harold Pinter toys with our senses in an understated masterpiece. It is typically off beat, a saga with a warped conclusion. Married couple, Sarah and Richard
from tolerant of each other’s lovers in this unexpected
tale of a marriage. The Lover is followed by a comic sketch, Trouble in the Works, written in 1959 also by Pinter. Fibbs, the factory foreman is visited by Wills, a representative of the work force who tells him how his pet machine
parts are causing serious trouble.
